Lena loves horses. She has been watching the mares and their babies in the field behind granny's house since she was old enough to stand at the fence.
Earlier this year, Lena inherited a collection of toy horses from our friend, Sarah. Then, a few weeks ago, I had a stroke of genius: I decided to ask Sarah to teach Lena how to ride in exchange for Spanish lessons.
I don't know how well Sarah liked her first Spanish lesson, but Lena's first riding lesson was a huge success!
